Experience

Barbara Johnson is responsible for management and training of the Anchorage support personnel as well as providing customer service on high profile, large and/or technically complex accounts. She works in close partnership with the Account Executive, exercising independent judgment in the managing and delivering of all aspects of our clients' insurance programs. Part of her duties are analyzing client contracts for insurance purposes and negotiate with insurance company underwriters any additional coverage/insurance requirements. Reviewing all expiring policies with Account Management team and obtain the updated renewal information from our clients, prepare and present this information to underwriters in order to negotiate for coverage and competitive pricing. Follow through with the proposal, bind coverage, review policies for accuracy, analyze coverage and maintain continues assistance to our clients with all of their insurance needs.

For the last 15 years of her 29+ years of insurance industry experience Barbara has been holding the position of a Senior Account Administrator with this firm. Due to her professionalism, client-directed attitude, and technical expertise, she is responsible for many of our Anchorage office's most demanding clients. She holds the Certified Insurance Service Representative (CISR) and the Certified Professional Insurance Woman (CPIW) designations and is a member of the Insurance Professionals of Anchorage and past Board Member and Treasurer.
