Experience

As an Account Manager in our Anchorage office, Barbara is responsible for customer service on high profile, large and/or technically complex accounts. She works in close partnership with Account Executives, exercising independent judgment in the management and delivery of all aspects of clients’ insurance programs. Her duties include obtaining, preparing, and presenting insurance requirements to company underwriters, and negotiating for coverage terms and competitive pricing. She also provides ongoing assistance to clients for all their insurance needs. Due to her professionalism, client-directed attitude, and technical expertise, Barbara is responsible for many of our Anchorage office’s most demanding clients.

Barbara holds the Certified Insurance Service Representative (CISR) and Certified Professional Insurance Woman (CPIW) professional designations. She is a past Board Member and Treasurer of the Insurance Professionals of Anchorage and remains an active member of the organization. Barbara has thirty years experience in the insurance industry and has been with Parker Smith & Feek, Inc. since 1993.
