Vice President, Account Executive, Project Risk Services Director
Brian Hearst leads Parker, Smith & Feek’s Project Risk Services department, is an Account Executive and a Vice President of the firm. He has a wealth of expertise in large and middle market risk in construction, energy, manufacturing, and public transportation sectors, both domestic and multinational. Drawing upon his experience in major civil OCIPs, marine and individual construction, and project specific risk, Brian designs effective and efficient risk management programs for our clients. He oversees the day-to-day operations of our Construction Services Department, in addition to educating Parker, Smith & Feek clients and employees on the ins and outs of construction risk, including builders risk, owner and contractor controlled insurance programs. Additionally, Brian is one of our University Series instructors, teaching the Construction 101 classes.
Brian began his career in the insurance industry as a Claim Specialist in 1989. From there, he went on to work in underwriting, commercial insurance brokerage, and risk management. Most recently, he specialized in construction, manufacturing and energy industry-related broking, before coming to Parker, Smith & Feek in 2016. Brian has a B.A. in International Studies from University of Washington, and an MBA in International Business and Accounting from Seattle University.
