Ed manages our Construction Services Department. He assists in the review of bid specifications and construction contract documents to help identify potential exposures to loss and financial hardship arising out of the specific features of the construction project, and the insurance provisions contained in the contract documents. Ed and his associates also market and place all builder's risk and railroad protective liability insurance policies for all of Parker, Smith & Feek's construction clients. He works with all project owners, property developers, and contractors who rely on our firm to provide risk management services, as well as the placement of project specific insurance coverages.

In his 25 + years at Parker, Smith & Feek, Ed has placed builder's risk coverage for projects with a combined value of more than $7 billion. He is sought after for his expertise in reviewing construction contracts and bid specifications for appropriate insurance provisions. Ed has more than 35 years of insurance industry experience. He has worked for several major insurers on inland marine, commercial package, HPR property, public utility, and petroleum industry accounts.
