Experience

Jana Smith is an Account Executive in our Anchorage office and a Principal of the firm. She works with clients to create dynamic and responsive insurance and risk management programs. Jana is a specialist in the areas of healthcare, energy, and government contracting. She is an innovative professional, having been instrumental in the creation and implementation of manuscript insurance policy forms. She has also participated in the design and marketing of worldwide Property and Casualty insurance programs. Jana is experienced in negotiation of reinsurance and excess placements for self-insured programs.

Jana has over twenty-five years experience and joined Parker Smith & Feek, Inc. in 2006. In addition to holding a B.A. in Business Administration, she has earned the Chartered Property Casualty Underwriter (CPCU), Associate in Risk Management (ARM), and Certified Insurance Counselor (CIC) professional designations. Jana serves on the board of two nonprofit organizations, Breast Cancer Focus, Inc and Bear Valley Community Association, and is involved with the Red Wagon Society in Anchorage.
