Experience

Jana Smith shares her 21 years' experience in the insurance brokerage community by working with Parker, Smith & Feek clients to create dynamic and responsive insurance and risk management programs.

Jana provides broker and risk management services and specifically focuses on Alaska native corporations and healthcare facilities. Jana has been instrumental in the creation and implementation of manuscript insurance policy forms. She has participated in the design and marketing of worldwide property and casualty insurance programs. She has also negotiated reinsurance and excess placements for self-insured programs. In addition to holding a Bachelor of Arts degree in business administration, Jana has earned the designations of Chartered Property Casualty Underwriter (CPCU), Associate in Risk Management (ARM), and Certified Insurance Counselor (CIC). She is a licensed Property/Casualty Producer and Surplus Lines Broker in multiple states. Jana is currently serving on the boards of Breast Cancer Focus, Inc and Bear Valley Community Association.
