Experience

Jim is our Chief Operating Officer, a Commercial Account Executive, and a Principal and Director of the firm. He manages the day-to-day operations of Parker, Smith & Feek, Inc. and was responsible for the organizational development of our Commercial Department into Practice Groups with specific industry focus. He also directs our marketing relationships with insurance carriers, serving as our key contact with the managers and underwriters of local and regional offices of insurance companies. Jim sits on the local agency advisory boards for several major carriers, including ACE, CNA, Hartford, and Unigard/QBE Insurance Companies.

Jim joined Parker Smith & Feek, Inc. in 1998. He is a member of the Assurex Global Healthcare Practice Network and is past Chair of CNA's National Professional Liability Producer Council. He is also active in Healthcare professional associations and trade groups throughout the Northwest and Alaska. Jim is Chair of the Pacific Northwest Insurance Council, an industry group whose mission is to raise community awareness about Provail, an organization serving children and adults with disabilities. He also serves on the board of the Bellevue College Foundation. Jim holds a B.A. in History and Business Administration from the University of Oregon and a M.B.A. in Marketing and Management from Seattle University.
