Luke is an Account Executive in our Commercial Department, working with clients in a broad range of industries, including healthcare, construction, nonprofit, manufacturing, and energy. He specializes in developing custom insurance programs to cover challenging risks.
With years of experience managing challenging healthcare risks, Luke is adept at developing creative insurance programs for complex clients. He has a deep understanding of risk management, including risk control programs, information systems, pure versus speculative risk, and a variety of alternative financing programs. His ability to analyze loss data to identify trends helps decrease our clients’ losses and lower their organizational expenses.
Luke entered the industry in 2010 and began working on commercial insurance programs for a diverse group of clients across Alaska. Working for a large national brokerage, he focused primarily on medium to large social service and healthcare organizations, managing all lines of coverage. His team was well known for their ability to identify and treat emerging risks, as well as creating programs that drove down costs and increased operational flexibility. He is a graduate of the University of Alaska, Anchorage, and joined Parker, Smith & Feek in 2016.
Luke believes that continuing education is vital to staying ahead of new and emerging risks. He holds the professional designations of CIC and CPCU, among others. Additionally, he is a member of the Alaska World Affairs Council. Luke is a lifelong Alaskan and enjoys spending time outdoors with his wife and daughter when he’s not in the office.
