Mike Woltersdorf works with our account teams and clients to identify safety and risk control practices and assists in implementing appropriate programs to avoid or limit loss. Mike's role is to develop proactive risk control programs focused on reducing exposures to potentially hazardous or dangerous conditions that could lead to injury or property damage. Typical areas of investigation include fire hazards, earthquake, flood, and other natural perils. He serves as a resource in preparing valuations of property, and is available to assist in safety, disaster planning, and crisis management. Mike has risk control experience with clients in a broad cross section of exposure areas, and Mike has regular contact with each of Parker, Smith & Feek's largest clients.
Mike joined Parker, Smith & Feek in 1996 following 10 years of insurance industry experience in risk control at three major insurance companies. He is a Certified Safety Professional (CSP) and a Certified Fire Protection Specialist (CFPS). He holds multiple professional insurance designations including the Accredited Loss Control Manager (ALCM), Chartered Property Casualty Underwriter (CPCU), and Associate in Risk Management (ARM). Mike received his bachelor's degree in chemistry from Pacific Lutheran University.
