Experience

Nick is an Account Executive in Parker, Smith & Feek’s Commercial Department, as well as our Oregon Regional Vice President. He specializes in working with Pacific Northwest organizations with difficult, high hazard exposures, and has significant experience in placement of insurance programs for both mid-sized and large multinational companies. He has substantial experience negotiating complex contractual insurance requirements, as well as developing and implementing innovative risk management and insurance solutions for clients within the construction, manufacturing, real estate, technology, and food & beverage industries.

Prior to joining Parker, Smith & Feek in August of 2016, Nick spent 14 years working for an international insurance broker in three of their U.S. offices (Seattle, New York, and Portland). Nick studied finance at the University of Washington and is heavily involved in the Portland community. He sits on the Executive Board of Big Brothers Big Sisters Columbia Northwest Chapter (Portland, Oregon), as well as the Board for ACG Portland (Association of Corporate Growth), the Board for Oregon RIMS (Risk & Insurance Management Society), and the Trail Blazers Board of Professionals. Nick also volunteers with Leadership Clark County (LCC) and DECA in Southwest Washington, which includes serving as both an area and state judge for high school business/marketing competitions.
