Experience

As an Account Manager in our Commercial Insurance Department, Shelley's single focus is client service, managing large and complex accounts, she is responsible to manage a team delivering quality service to our high profile clients. As an Account Manager she interacts with clients in all aspects of their insurance program needs, providing proactive strategies for placement of coverage, development of policy contracts, and solutions to meet the continuing insurance needs of her clients. Shelley has extensive experience with OCIP (Owner Controlled Insurance Program) Management and Administration and is a resource for both our staff and their clients who are considering projects which will require that they enter into contracts involving either an OCIP or CCIP (Contractor Controlled Insurance Program). She conducts insurance training seminars for clients on all aspects of contract management including review and proper handling of Certificates of Insurance. Shelley's clients are primarily in the real estate and property development industry.

As a Unit Supervisor Shelley is also responsible to supervise a staff of Account Administrators within the Commercial Insurance Department. Shelley joined Parker, Smith & Feek in 1983 after seven years with a large international brokerage firm. She is a licensed Agent and Broker.
