Experience

Stuart O'Farrell an Account Executive in our Surety Department and a Principal of the firm. He guides the activities and services of our surety staff, one of the largest on the West Coast. Stuart also has active responsibility for the overall surety relationship of some of Parker, Smith & Feek's largest Contractor clients. This includes developing the client's relationship with surety underwriters and working with his administrative team to facilitate bid bond requests and similar information to the surety company. Stuart is responsible for reviewing financial statements, work-on-hand schedules, bond forms, and confirmation of financing on private work. He can also assist in owner and subcontractor investigations that may be required.

Stuart's career began with SAFECO, where he spent five years as a Contract Bond Underwriter for both Alaska and Washington. He has been with Parker, Smith & Feek, Inc. since 2001. Stuart is active in Construction organizations, including Associated General Contractors (AGC) and National Association of Surety Bond Producers (NASBP). He is a past President and Board Member of the Construction Financial Management Association (CFMA) in Seattle, and has also served in several Officer positions with the Surety Association of Washington. Stuart is a graduate of Central Washington University.
