Community Spotlight: Brandon Hemphill

Employee Spotlight: Brandon Hemphill

Meet Brandon Hemphill; he is an Account Executive with the Private Client Group at Parker, Smith & Feek. Brandon is passionate about engaging with his community; in particular, providing others with meaningful opportunities that were instrumental in helping him achieve his goals.

Brandon is avid is active in his community in a variety of capacities. For the past eight years, Brandon has helped organize a golf tournament each July for the Joshua P. Williams Foundation. Brandon serves as the golf tournament chair and, more recently, on the Board of Directors. Josh Williams was a close friend and teammate of Brandon’s who passed away in a skiing accident while they were in high school. Josh’s family and friends came together to form a foundation to commemorate his legacy and support organizations that give rise to his character. The golf tournament, including an auction and dinner, raises financial donations and scholarships for several beneficiaries, and even offers an opportunity for young volunteers to caddy with a celebrity. These organizations include: Friends of Youth, Athletes for Kids, Sambica, Sammamish Issaquah Young Life, Tanzanian Children’s Fund, and Redmond Sammamish Boys and Girls Club. The tournament has become a very successful and rewarding event for all who attend continuing to grow each year and is a powerful healing tool for the families and friends involved.

“I want to give back to a community that gave me so much and enabled me to become the person I am today. I also believe it is important to be engaged and giving back to those who have less or fewer opportunities than I do.”
