The COVID-19 pandemic continues to affect our lives and organizations, and is evolving quickly each and every day. Parker, Smith & Feek is dedicated to keeping you informed on the latest information.
Washington Governor Jay Inslee extended proclamations 20-05 and 20-46, requiring accommodation of high-risk employees to protect against COVID-19 until at least August 1, 2020. Read the proclamation to learn more.
For fully insured plans, the Washington Office of the Insurance Commissioner extends Emergency Order 20-01 to July 3 for waived deductibles and covered COVID-19 testing. Insurers must also continue allowing a one-time early refill for prescriptions and suspend prior authorization requirements for treatment of COVID-19. If a plan does not have enough medical providers in its network to provide COVID-19 testing or treatment, it must allow out-of-network services within a reasonable distance at no additional cost. Read the extension to learn more.
We hosted a webinar focused on the mental, public, and virtual health, and suicide prevention spaces and discussed trends in mental health both pre and post-COVID-19. Watch the recording to learn more.
