Experience

Lynne is a Vice President and Account Executive of our firm, serving Alaska-based contractors, financial institutions, social services organizations, and utilities. In addition to insurance program design and placement, Lynne has over 28 years’ experience in injury and loss prevention management strategies, and claims management programs and implementation for clients.

After earning her Bachelor of Science in industrial engineering, business, and pre-law from Arizona State University, Lynne began her risk management and insurance career with a major insurer in 1988, completing a formal intern program in risk control. She worked for the insurance carrier assessing and consulting in managing risk and exposures to loss for many different Alaska businesses, including social services, municipalities, construction companies, and transportation risks, among others. Lynne moved into the insurance brokerage side of the business in 1993 with the third largest insurance broker in the world in a risk assessment and control and claims consulting role. She transitioned to insurance program design and placement in her 13 years with that brokerage firm.

She is a licensed insurance broker in property and casualty insurance in several states. She held the Certified Safety Professional (CSP) designation for over 25 years. Lynne is active in professional associations and has received several awards in recognition of her professional accomplishments and philanthropic activities. She has served on the Boards of Girl Scouts of Alaska, Equine Assisted Therapy Alaska, and the Workers’ Compensation Committee of Alaska. She currently serves on the Board of the Alaska Chamber of Commerce and Associated General Contractors of Alaska. She is a member of Rotary International and served as President of the Board of the Anchorage “Downtown” Club.
