Vice President, Account Executive

Experience

Sally is a Vice President and Account Executive in our Employee Benefits Department. She works with clients in a variety of industries, including healthcare, nonprofits, manufacturing, and higher education.

Sally has over 39 years’ experience in employee benefits, 36 performing consulting and brokerage services to clients. She specializes in large, complex, self-funded clients. Sally uses her vast experience to provide creative solutions and strategic work with clients. She has worked with a variety of client types, including healthcare, manufacturing, financial services, and higher education. She also has expertise working with clients who are party to collective bargaining units and consults to Taft-Hartley trust funds. She uses her inquisitive nature to understand her clients and their employees. Sally is a mentor to and trainer of our account managers and junior staff.

Sally started her career administering medical and prescription claims, which taught her the ins and outs of medical services and plan administration. She then spent nine years with a local insurance brokerage firm in Bellevue before joining a large national firm where she worked for 14 years, serving clients between 2,000 and 25,000 employees. Sally joined Parker, Smith & Feek in 2005 to lead our large client service team. She has a B.S. in business administration from Oregon State University, with minors in general science and behavioral science.

Sally serves on the Premera Broker Advisory Counsel, giving input and direction on Premera’s initiatives and products. She is a member of the Employee Benefits Planning Association and the International Foundation of Employee Benefit Plans. Sally is vice president of the Board of Northwest Water Polo Club and spends much of her time supporting youth water polo in the Pacific Northwest.
