Experience

Tim is a Vice President and Principal of Parker, Smith & Feek, and sits on the firm’s Board of Directors. He also leads our Construction Practice Group. In this capacity, he has overall responsibility for coordinating the resources of the firm to provide responsive services that meet the needs of his clients now while having an eye toward identifying what will be needed in the future. He works with our account teams to develop innovative risk management strategies, delivering insurance programs with competitive pricing while reducing his clients total cost of risk.

Tim brings value to his clients through consultative risk assessment, contractual risk transfer, loss control, claims handling, builder’s risk review, and identifying new market opportunities. Tim’s clients span the west coast and are focused within the construction and real estate sectors. He works closely with owners, developers, and contractors of all scope and size in creating the most efficient risk management program.

Tim began his insurance career in 2002 as an independent agent and broker. He enjoys advocating for his clients to help them achieve their business objectives. Although he would rather walk the job-site discussing construction, Tim takes the time to get into the minutiae of construction risk to make sure his clients are protected. He currently holds a Certified Insurance Counselor (CIC) and Construction Risk Insurance Specialist (CRIS) designations. Tim is a graduate of the University of Washington.
