PS&F Announces New CEO and Chairman

Bellevue, Washington – April 15, 2005 – Parker, Smith & Feek, a regional insurance brokerage, is pleased to announce the appointments of Chuck Szopa to the position of Chairman of the Board, and Gregory Collins as Chief Executive Officer.

Chuck joined Parker, Smith & Feek in 1986 when he opened the Anchorage, Alaska office. In his 19-year tenure, he has grown that office into one of the leading independent insurance brokerages in the state. In addition to his role as Chairman, Chuck will continue to manage Alaska operations and work with his existing clientele.

Greg Collins joined Parker, Smith & Feek in 1987 and has held various senior management positions. He was the Chief Operating Officer before being promoted to President in 2003. He has worked with the firm’s larger clients on environmental liability issues and is a frequent speaker on the impact of environmental issues in real estate transfers. He is the past Chairman and a current Director of Assurex Global, an international corporation comprised of privately held insurance brokers collectively managing more than $20 billion of annual insurance premiums worldwide.
