John is an Account Executive in the Commercial Department and Head of our Real Estate Practice Group. He works with our Account Service Teams to develop responsive insurance programs that address the special needs of a diverse group of clients, including Technology, Non-Profit, Healthcare, Financial Institutions, Manufacturing, and Real Estate corporations. John has extensive experience and expertise in several areas of insurance coverage, including Property, Professional Liability, and Directors & Officers Liability. He began his career in 1985 as a Loss Prevention engineer and then as an underwriter and head of office for a national Property insurer. Those experiences have provided valuable insights and skills for evaluating risks and negotiating insurance coverages with carriers.
John joined Parker Smith & Feek, Inc. in 2007, after working with a large, global brokerage firm. He graduated from Pennsylvania State University with a B.S. in Mechanical Engineering. He has also completed graduate level business courses at Drexel University and Seattle Pacific University. John is a member of the Professional Liability Underwriting Society and serves on the Board of Directors for BOMA Seattle King County and Affiliated FM Broker Advisory Council.
