Experience

Casey Smith is a Vice President in our Commercial Department and a member of our Healthcare Practice Group. She coordinates the resources within Parker, Smith & Feek to design and implement insurance programs tailored to meet the risk management objectives of her clients. Casey directs our account teams in risk analysis, exposure reviews, and account market strategies to provide cost effective and comprehensive insurance solutions.

Casey is a seasoned professional with 30 years of experience. She has a broad background working with general/products liability, workers’ compensation, international risks and management, and professional and security/privacy liability. She is also experienced with many different funding mechanisms from retroactive and deductible plans to captives, reinsurance, and self-insurance.

Casey is a graduate of the University of Washington, where she received a B.A. in mathematics. She has earned several designations, including Registered Professional Liability (RPLU), Chartered Property Casualty Underwriter (CPCU), Associates in Risk Management (ARM), and Certified Aviation Insurance Professional (CAIP).

Casey enjoys reading, running, baking, and hiking. She’s learning Japanese and re-learning French. When she has time, Casey also likes to travel to use her newly honed language skills.
