Principal, Vice President, Account Executive
Josh is a Principal, Vice President, and Account Executive in our Commercial Department. He helps lead our Food and Manufacturing Practice Group, which includes food and meat processors, apple growers, seafood processors, and frozen vegetable and bottled water manufacturers. He works with a team to develop responsive insurance programs that address the special needs of food processing clients such as property, cargo, auto, excess, workers’ compensation, equipment breakdown, and in particular, food product recall and contamination.
Josh has experience in life and disability, employee benefits, and commercial insurance from his work at a large, global brokerage firm. He has advised small to large employers in the Puget Sound on their technology, recruiting practices, insurance programs, and risk management. Those experiences have provided valuable insights and skills for evaluating risks and negotiating insurance coverages with carriers, as well as fully understanding the complexity of an organization from the human resource and finance perspective.
Josh joined Parker, Smith & Feek in 2014. He graduated from the University of Puget Sound with a B.S. in business management and marketing. Josh serves on the board of Food Lifeline and recently finished his term as the president for the Foundation Board at Providence Mount Saint Vincent. He is actively involved in the NW Fisheries Association, NW Salmon Canners, Propeller Club, Transportation Club, and of course the NWFPA.
