Experience

Justin is an Account Executive in our Surety Department, responsible for the overall surety needs of his clients.

Justin specializes in surety bonds for various contractor classes, helping clients procure and maximize bonding credit while mitigating risk. In addition to serving the bond needs of his contractors, Justin is a valuable resource for a wide range of business issues that his clients face in a dynamic business environment, including market/project risk analysis and mitigation, contract negotiation, and other internal business issues such as perpetuation, estimating, and cost accounting systems. His prior experience at a leading surety company makes him a strong, knowledgeable client advocate in negotiations with surety underwriters.

After graduating from Gonzaga University with a B.A. in business administration with concentrations in finance and economics, Justin began his surety career at Liberty Mutual Surety in Spokane. From there he developed a solid surety acumen and client-driven approach to the needs of his contractors. As a senior contract underwriter Justin managed surety programs of contractors throughout the Western United States, including Idaho, Montana, Washington, Oregon, California, and Wyoming, with several contractors listed on the ENR Top 400.

Justin is the vice president of the Surety Association of Idaho (SAI) and an active member of the Association of General Contractors (AGC), National Association of Surety Bond Producers (NASBP), and Construction Financial Management Association (CFMA).
