Safety & Risk Summit Webinar Series: CRACKING THE CODE ON LOWER BACK INJURIES

Safety and Risk Series: CRACKING THE CODE ON LOWER BACK INJURIES

Parker, Smith & Feek’s Safety and Risk Series’ third webinar took a look at innovative strategies for preventing back injuries with Dr. Kevin Rindal, DC.

According to the Bureau of Labor Statistics, one in five on-the-job injuries involves the lower back. On average, a lower back injury will take an employee out of work for 14 days, which profoundly impacts productivity and carries an expensive price tag along with it. Additionally, these injuries can have a detrimental effect on the worker’s quality of life and long-term health.

This seminar covered innovative strategies for preventing lower back injuries before they occur, while at the same time building a more resilient workforce. Attendees also learned very practical concepts for how they and their employees can play an active role in maintaining and optimizing their “movement health.”
